JOB DESCRIPTION
Collections Coordinator / Payroll
Responsibilities
- Manage, collect and maintain customer accounts receivable balances
- Evaluate customer credit history, apply sales policies and perform collection duties
- Prepare reports regarding cash, collections, sales orders/invoices, commission reports
- Work with sales department to expedite shipments, coordinate collections and obtain prepayments for customer orders as required
- Prepare and issue payroll for factory employees including updating master payroll file information, ensuring deductions are timely and accurate, and prepare reports as requested by the Controller and the company President
- Back up office administration duties
Qualifications and Skills needed:
- Associate degree or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years collections or cash management with payroll experience is preferred
- Strong organizational, efficiency and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn other programs as needed
