Regional Sales Manager - Lynx Broadband

Location: Burnsville, MN - South Metro

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Position is responsible for the management and support of assigned manufacturer’s representatives. Develop key business relationships with consultants, architects and engineers through joint sales presentations in the field with assigned manufacturer reps to generate and close new sales opportunities. Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to the development of sales proposals and system designs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential functions of the position:

  1. Meet established sales objectives in assigned territory.
  2. Manage and support manufacturer’s representatives in the assigned territory including the selection of new reps as needed, provide direction, ongoing support and training to reps in assigned territory.
  3. Prepare system designs and proposals for architects, contractors, engineers and end users in the assigned territories and accounts.
  4. Regular travel within territory for joint sales presentations with reps and for direct sales efforts in areas without representation.
  5. Attend and staff booth at selected trade shows and conferences.
  6. Manage and track all activities, opportunities and quotes in company CRM system.
  7. Provide technical support, system design and respond to all inquiries via phone and email from assigned territory.
  8. Assist in preparation and distribution of marketing materials as needed to communicate the features and benefits of the Lynx Broadband product line.
  9. Work with customers, engineering, and the quality department as needed to help resolve field problems in a timely manner.
  10. Understand and abide by all BH Electronics policies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSTION:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel by airplane and car to make sales presentations.
  • May stand for long periods of time during tradeshows, stoop kneel and use ladder to assemble tradeshow booth.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Two or more years of technical field sales experience.

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able and willing to work with products produced for military use
